Driveway Pressure Washing Across Sussex
Block paved driveways are more popular than ever, but time takes its toll. Moss, algae, lichen, weeds, dirt, oil drips, tyre marks and general grime all conspire to spoil that beautiful "just laid" appearance, and left untreated they can make a driveway slippery and unsafe as well as unsightly. We use extremely high pressure Honda powered jet washers (250 Bar / 3600 PSI) — massively more powerful than any available home pressure washer — along with high quality commercial flat surface cleaners to clean and renovate your driveway and restore it to its former glory, quickly, thoroughly and at a surprisingly affordable price.
Whether you're in Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Eastbourne or a smaller village tucked away in the Sussex countryside, our fully equipped team brings the same commercial-grade approach to every job, large or small, residential or commercial. We always achieve amazing results with our pressure washing services, and a full image gallery of our recent driveway cleaning work can be found here.

Our Driveway Cleaning Process
- Free survey and quote. We assess the surface type, size, condition and access before agreeing a price — no surprises on the day.
- Pre-treatment. Where moss, algae or weeds are heavy we apply a fungicidal wash and/or weed killer to break down growth before jet washing begins.
- High pressure clean. Using Honda powered 250 Bar / 3600 PSI jet washers and commercial flat surface cleaners, we lift out ingrained dirt, oil, moss and algae from every joint and pore of the surface.
- Re-sanding. For block paved driveways we re-sand the joints using specialist kiln dried silica sand to replace anything lost during washing and to help lock paviours in place.
- Optional sealing. A sealant can be applied to help repel dirt, inhibit weed and moss regrowth, and keep your driveway looking newly cleaned for longer — ask us for details.
As well as applying fungicidal wash and/or weed killer if necessary, after cleaning we will also re-sand the joints of your block paved areas using special kiln dried silica sand to replace any sand lost during the jet washing.
Driveway Surfaces We Clean
In addition to block paved driveways, we effectively clean tarmac, poured concrete, imprinted (pattern) concrete, resin bound driveways, natural stone flags and gravel areas. We also clean patios, paths, steps, decking, forecourts and walls, and just about any other exterior hard surface, for both commercial and residential customers throughout East and West Sussex. If you also need help with a patio or decking area, take a look at our patio cleaning and decking cleaning services.
Why Regular Driveway Cleaning Matters
A clean driveway isn't just about appearances, although it makes a huge difference to kerb appeal and the first impression your property gives. Regular pressure washing also:
- Removes algae and moss that can make a driveway dangerously slippery, especially in wet Sussex weather.
- Helps protect the surface and jointing sand of block paving from long-term weed root damage.
- Prevents built-up dirt and organic growth from staining and discolouring the surface permanently.
- Supports the resale value of your home by keeping the exterior looking well maintained.
- Prepares the surface properly for re-sanding or sealing, extending the life of the driveway.
Driveway Cleaning Prices
Our drive cleaning prices are extremely competitive. The price depends on a number of factors, including the size of the area to be cleaned, the type of surface (block paving, tarmac, concrete, resin or gravel), the level of moss, algae or weed growth, ease of access to the driveway, and on-site drainage. Because every driveway is different, we prefer to give an honest, tailored quote rather than a generic one-size-fits-all price. Driveway Cleaning Across Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Eastbourne & East and West Sussex
We provide driveway power washing, drive cleaning and block paving driveway jet and pressure cleaning services throughout East and West Sussex, including the following major towns and the surrounding villages. If your area isn't listed please call us on 0800 228 9037 — there's a good chance we already cover it.
Driveway Cleaning in Brighton & Hove
As one of our core coverage areas, Brighton and Hove is home to a huge number of block paved driveways, from period terraces close to the seafront to newer developments on the outskirts of the city. Sea air, shaded courtyards and busy on-street parking all speed up the build-up of algae, moss and grime, so regular driveway pressure washing is one of the easiest ways for Brighton and Hove homeowners to keep their property looking sharp.
Driveway Cleaning in Worthing
Worthing's mix of coastal properties and residential estates means driveways here face similar challenges, with salt air and tree cover both contributing to moss and algae growth. We regularly carry out driveway and block paving cleaning across Worthing and the surrounding Adur and Arun areas, restoring drives, forecourts and paths to a like-new finish.
Driveway Cleaning in Eastbourne
Eastbourne's leafy residential roads and larger driveways are well suited to our high pressure jet washing service, which quickly lifts ingrained dirt and organic growth without damaging the surface underneath. From single driveways to larger commercial forecourts, we're a trusted choice for driveway cleaning across Eastbourne and the wider Wealden district.
Other Towns We Cover Across East & West Sussex
Beyond Brighton, Hove, Worthing and Eastbourne, we regularly carry out driveway cleaning and pressure washing throughout Lewes, Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven, Saltdean, Rottingdean, Bexhill-on-Sea, Hailsham, Polegate, Uckfield, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks, Shoreham-by-Sea, Portslade, Southwick and the many villages that surround them.
Frequently Asked Questions About Driveway Cleaning
How often should I get my driveway pressure washed?
Most driveways in Sussex benefit from a professional clean every 12 to 24 months. Coastal, tree-lined or shaded driveways in areas such as Brighton, Hove and Worthing can attract moss and algae faster and may need cleaning more often to stay safe and looking good.
Is high pressure jet washing safe for block paving?
Yes, when carried out correctly by an experienced operative. We control the pressure, nozzle type and distance to lift dirt, moss and algae without damaging the paviours, and we always re-sand the joints with kiln dried silica sand afterwards to protect the surface.
Do you clean tarmac and concrete driveways as well as block paving?
Yes, we clean block paving, tarmac, poured concrete, imprinted concrete, resin bound driveways, natural stone and gravel areas throughout Brighton, Worthing, Eastbourne, Hove and the rest of East and West Sussex.
Do you offer weed treatment and re-sanding after cleaning?
Yes. Where needed we apply a fungicidal wash and weed treatment, and re-sand the joints of block paved driveways using kiln dried silica sand to replace any sand lost during jet washing and to help discourage future weed growth.
How much does driveway cleaning cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the driveway, the surface type, its condition and access to water and drainage on site. Contact us for a free, no obligation quote.
